     In this section, we look at the causes of global warming and its consequences, all from a science point of view. Unfortunately, what is considered science today is sometimes hard to decide for the layman. This is unfortunate and dangerous. It is important to know who to believe when we are dealing with the possible end to our civilization. For that reason, this section also has a page discussing the current Climate Myths that are deliberately being spread by people who have a vested interest in keeping the status quo. You will find in that page a simple Credibility Index that you can apply whenever you are listening to people talk about climate change. Once you have read this section, you will see why the top science organizations and top, peer-reviewed science journals all summarize our current situation as follows;

     The climate is changing
     We are the ones causing it, and
     The consequences will be very bad.
